This is the poetry section of my site! This is where I place some of my poems. It's its own Zonelet within the Solar Communism Zonelet. It's even complete with its own RSS.
My poems are generally based on Dwarf Fortress poetry forms. I prefer writing poems with rhyme and syllable constraints, which is part of why I enjoy using Dwarf Fortress poetry forms.
Dwarf Fortress is a video game/fantasy world simulator which creates worlds with their own histories to play in. Included in the world generation are poetry forms (among other art forms, such as music and dance). Using legends viewer or browser, one can view the poetry forms. Many of them are compatible with the English language.
